Pre-registration allows players to reserve a spot in the next round of their current game world before it begins. This feature ensures continuity and helps prevent overcrowding in preferred cities.
How Does Pre-Registration Work?
Pre-registration opens at the start of the endgame, allowing players to secure their spot in the next round of the same game world. There are two types of pre-registration:
- Individual Pre-Registration: Players reserve a spot for themselves.
- Association Pre-Registration: An entire association can pre-register together to start in the same city.
Association Pre-Registration Mechanics
- Who can pre-register? The Chair or Deputies of an association can pre-register all members who haven't already pre-registered.
- City Selection: The Chair or Deputy chooses a non-overcrowded city, which becomes the default starting city for all pre-registered members.
- Automatic Assignment: Once the association is pre-registered, all members are automatically assigned to the selected city.
- Player Choices:
- Players can switch to another non-overcrowded city if they prefer.
- They can return to the association’s default city as long as it is not overcrowded.
- Opting Out: Players who do not wish to participate in the next round must either manually cancel their pre-registration or avoid joining that game world.
Example: If the Chair or a Deputy pre-registers and selects a specific city, all association members are automatically pre-registered for this specific city.
Reservation Duration & Late Arrivals
- Reservation Period: Reserved slots remain available for 24 hours after the game world starts.
- Late Joins: Pre-registered players can still join after the game starts, provided there is available space.
- Leadership Role: If a pre-registered Chair joins late and there is space in the association, they automatically regain their leadership role.
Pre-Registration for Special Event Game Worlds
- Special event servers may have different pre-registration rules.
- Typically, pre-registration for these events opens 24 hours before the game starts.
- Some events have a player cap, making early registration essential.
Pre-registration ensures a smooth transition between rounds, keeps associations together, and helps players secure their preferred locations.
