How to create your Rail Nation account
You can play Rail Nation in your browser at www.rail-nation.com, or you can download the mobile app, available for both Android and iOS devices. Depending on your preference, there are a few different ways to sign up:
1. Email registration
This is the conventional route for registering your account. Simply head to the game’s main website or download the mobile app and sign up using your email address. This method provides a secure way to create and manage your account.
2. Social media registration
If you’re looking for a quick and easy setup process, you can register using your social media accounts. Rail Nation supports several options, including Facebook, Google, Apple and VK. By linking your Rail Nation account to one of these platforms, you can skip the hassle of entering all your details and jump straight into the game.
3. Mobile app exclusive: instant account (and registration option)
For mobile players, there’s an instant account option. Once you’ve installed the app and accessed it, you can hit the “Start new career” button and dive right into the game without needing to go through the full registration process.
However, there’s an important point to bear in mind. Instant accounts are tied to the specific device you use to create them. If you delete and reinstall the app, or switch to a new device, you won’t be able to recover your account unless you’ve linked it to an email address. We highly recommend taking a moment to link your account to an email address for added security. You can do this by tapping the golden button located just below Lucy, your in-game guide.
The game will occasionally remind you to register as well, just in case you forget.

After creating an account, you’ll automatically be signed into a pre-set game world (server), typically the newest one based on your language. If you wish to explore a specific game world, log out and head back to the lobby; then select your desired game world.
