The sixth era includes 3 passenger trains named after ancient gods and heroes, with one being a bonus engine.
Engines are unlocked using research points generated by the Laboratory building in your Train Station. Once all required pre-requisites are researched, you can begin developing the next engine. At the end of Era 6, no further coupling system is introduced.
Note: You do not need to research anything from earlier eras to begin researching Era 6 engines. If you're joining late, you can skip previous eras.
