Instant Account (Mobile Application)

Rail Nation offers an _instant account_ option for mobile users, allowing you to start playing without registering right away. This guide explains how to create an instant account and how to secure it for long-term access.

### **Creating an Instant Account**

1.  **Download the App**  
    Install the Rail Nation app from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rail-nation/id1155453617) or [Google Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.traviangames.railnationworld).
    
2.  **Launch the App**  
    Open the app on your mobile device.
    
3.  **Start a New Career**  
    Tap **“Start new career”** to begin. This creates a temporary account linked to your device, allowing immediate access to the game.
    

**Note:** Instant accounts are tied to your device. If you uninstall the app or switch devices without registering, your progress may be lost.

### **Securing Your Instant Account**

To protect your progress and allow access from other devices:

1.  **Open the Career Menu**  
    On the login screen, tap **“Manage Career.”**
    
2.  **Link to an Email Address**  
    Register your account by entering a valid email and creating a password.
    
3.  **Confirm Your Registration**  
    Check your inbox for a confirmation email and follow the link to verify your account.
    

Tip: Linking your account ensures that you can recover your progress if you change or lose your device.

### **Managing Your Account**

**Switching Game Worlds**  
After creating an account, you’ll be automatically placed into a default game world. To switch, log out and return to the lobby to select a different game world.

**Accessing Account Settings**  
Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the app to open the main menu. From there, you can view your progress, check achievements, and adjust your settings.
