# How to reset your password

How to reset your password

If you’ve forgotten your Rail Nation password or your account is temporarily locked, you can reset it by following these steps:

**Step-by-Step Instructions**

-   **Go to the Login Screen**  
    Visit the [Rail Nation homepage](https://www.rail-nation.com) and click the **Login** button in the top-right corner.
    
-   **Click “Lost password”**  
    In the login window, select the **Lost password** link located below the red “Login” button.
    
-   **Enter Your Email Address**  
    Type in the email address linked to your Rail Nation account.
    
-   **Submit the Request**  
    Click the **Reset password** button.
    
-   **Check Your Email**  
    You’ll receive an email from Rail Nation with a password reset link.  If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder.
    
-   **Create a New Password**  
    Click the link in the email to open a secure page where you can enter your new password.
    
-   **Confirm and Save**  
    Enter and confirm your new password, then click **Reset password** to complete the process.
    

### **Account Locked?**

-   If your account has been temporarily locked due to multiple failed login attempts, resetting your password will often unlock it.
