# How do I delete my avatar or account?

How do I delete my avatar or account?

There may be times when you want to stop playing on a specific game world or even delete your entire Rail Nation account. Below you'll find the differences between **avatar deletion** and **full account deletion**, and how to proceed with each.

### **Deleting a Game World Avatar**

You can delete your avatar from a game world at any time. This process takes **72 hours** to complete.

> **Important:** Logging into the game world again during this period will automatically cancel the deletion.

**To delete your avatar:**

1.  Click the **tools icon** at the top right of your screen to open the _Options_ menu.
    
2.  Select **Transfer Gold / Delete Avatar** from the menu on the left.
    
3.  You’ll see a summary of your remaining **Gold** and **Plus Account** time that can be transferred.
    
4.  Click **Delete Avatar** and confirm the deletion in the pop-up window.
    

**Note:**

-   Deleting an avatar does **not** affect your achievements or avatars on other game worlds.
    
-   Gold and Plus Account time can usually only be transferred to avatars on game worlds of the same country — exceptions may apply for international events.

### **Deleting Your Rail Nation Lobby Account**

Deleting your lobby account is permanent and **cannot be undone**. This will erase:

-   All game progress
    
-   Achievements
    
-   Career Engine progress across all game worlds
    

If you want to delete your account or request a full **GDPR data deletion**, please contact Customer Support.

**To request account deletion:**

-   Use the **Support** option in the game and **create a ticket**.
