Rail Nation is a round-based game where all scenarios are played in distinct rounds.
Each game round has a set duration before the game world resets for a new round.
Game Speed Options: 1x (standard) and 2x (fast).
Game Length: Approximately 13 weeks for standard 1x speed servers, or 7 weeks for 2x speed servers.
Scenarios: Three permanent scenarios, along with special event scenarios.
Platforms: Playable on browser and mobile (Android, iOS).
Game world (Server) Start Times: Servers begin at 14:00 Germany time (CET or CEST), except US servers, which start at 16:00.
Creating Your Rail Nation Account
When you first enter the game, you’ll create a Rail Nation account, and an avatar for a specific game world (server). By default, the server is selected based on your language choice (e.g., selecting German will place you on a German server). However, you can choose a different game world later.
Game Tutorials
As you begin, we recommend following the tutorial led by Lucy, the in-game conductor. Each tutorial task is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the game’s interface, menus, and essential functions, making your start smoother and more enjoyable.
Additionally, the Help menus provide valuable information. There are also tutorials and advice shared by more experienced players in the game, whether in city forums, chats, public forums, or on Discord. Typically, association leaders, mayors, or presidents post game guidelines, as it benefits them to ensure new players learn effectively, contributing to the success of the city, region, or faction. Players are also encouraged to create their own guides to share their experiences and feedback with others.
